“Geometrical composition of natural landscapes, bold distortion and change in perceptual vision are used frequently in my paintings. This kind of vision transfers to the audience’s rich imagination and strikes a sympathetic cord, creating a feeling that they have been there before. These farm patterns from Washington State allow the viewer to shift from representation to abstraction and back again.”
